Xavier is the second release from Wookie's own label Lovestar Music. 'Do you believe' is a thought-provoking, uplifting song with all the warmth and atmosphere of classic soul combined with big house beats. This release marks Wookie's return to the soul roots of dance music and his drive to get closer to what people are feeling on the floor has inspired him to DJ for the first time in his prolific career! 2007 will see Wookie launching regular Lovestar Music nights and delving deeper into the production of a second album. The Story... Heavily influenced by his reggae producer father, Jason began his career as a producer with reggae star Wayne Marshall in 1991. Jason produced the majority of Marshall's debut album'90 Degrees and Rising' in 1994 which topped the Music Week dance chart for 3 weeks and the Urban Street Chart for 8 weeks. Shortly after the release of the album Jason spent the next 10 years as in-house writer/producer at the Soul II Soul Studios. Jason first developed his own Wookie sound remixing tracks for Destiny's Child, Public Enemy and Nas to name just a few. The Wookie sound was already in development during the late 90's and became apparent in his bootleg remixes of Whitney Houston, Brandy and Debalah Morgan. His first legit remix as Wookie was'Sunshine' for Gabrielle in 2000. Later taking centre stage at the forefront of the emerging UK Garage Scene he went on to achieve International success as an artist in his own right with his Number 9 hit in the UK National Charts'Battle' from his debut album. His debut album'Wookie' was released in 2000 and was hailed as a'soul masterpiece in a modern style' and the'first truly essential and definitive UK Garage album, '. His fresh, innovative and distinctive sound demonstrated in hits like'Battle', 'Back up back up', and'Scrappy', won him critical acclaim Worldwide. The first release on his own'Lovestar Music' label was'Sunshine in the Rain' in 2006 feat. Lain which became a pirate radio and club anthem almost over night even before its release summer 2006. In recent years Wookie has been heavily involved in the UK FUNKY and House scene's coming with some fresh bangers including Vocal hit'Falling Again' feat NY and Gallium.

Rossi B & Luca

When Touch heard Rossi B & Lucas demo, they heard a set that stood out from the crowd...This is todays sound of the superstar DJs of tomorrow. TOUCH MAGAZINE, MAY 2002.

This is no hype. Rossi B and Luca have the streets and more locked.

In 2003 Rossi B and Luca were crowned'Best newcomer DJ' at the prestigious Sidewinder People's Choice Awards, followed by 3rd in the following year's'Best DJ' poll, pushing UKG legends EZ and Fonti (Heartless Crew) all the way.

Since then they have gone on to worldwide acclaim, not only for their superb DJ skills, but also for their pioneering productions.

U.S bible of cool'Fader' hailed the duo's p.a. destroying'Run 4 Cover' (featuring the infamous Nasty Crew) as the top remix of Damien Marley's'Welcome to Jamrock' in their'Listmania 2005' article, sockin' it to the likes of Lil Kim and Juelz Santana in their own back yard.

Rossi B and Luca are also prolific in their promotion of up and coming production talent, having founded the legendary More2dafloor brand, aswell as the market leading grime imprints, A.R.M.Y and Bullet Records and discovered tracks from the likes of Dexplicit, Scandalous Unlimited, Dr Venom (Hadouken), Plasticman (Radio 1's Plastician), DJ Q and many, many more.

Rossi B and Luca's hard work and dedication is surely evident in many a UK music lover or DJ's collection.

'In a garage world full of haters, no one has a bad word to say about Rossi B and Luca...these two have made their name the old fashioned way by being great DJ's. ' DEUCE MAG.

Having dedicated 8 years to the airwaves with some of the UK's biggest stations, most notably the legendary Rinse FM where they made the'Super Sundays' 5-7 slot their own, Rossi B and Luca felt it was time to take a well deserved sabbatical. The time has been well spent though, with the formulation of new imprint'Heavy Artillery', bringing together some of the pioneers of the UK Music scene and up and coming talent alike. http://www.myspace.com/heavyartillerylabel

Over the years as well as an ever increasing fanbase, the press attention has grown beyond normal realms, with features, cover CDs and reviews with institutions like Touch, RWD, Deuce, Fader (USA), IDJ, Muzik, ID and Mixmag whilst the internet forums are constantly buzzing about their latest mix, remix or production.

With new tracks and collaborations forthcoming, bookings ever increasing and mix CDs hitting the streets with a bang, it's a sure fire bet that there's a whole lot more2dafloor in the pipeline for Rossi B & Luca.
