Bristol's very own 17 piece Latin big band kickstart their crowdfunding campaign with two events at the B&A Church Hall on Gloucester Rd, Bristol. There are two events at the same venue, so please make sure you choose the right one for you... MATINEE (free salsa lesson) or MAIN SHOW (whole evening of live music)
THE MAIN SHOW 7pm - 11pm
Manos De Madera
An exciting six piece afro cuban percussion group headed by Bristol's rumbero Jason Gaines. Playing tradition Cuban Rumba music on a selection of hand drums, interlaced with spanish vocal chants. Sure to bounce the evening in the right direction
Dockside Latin Orchestra
Bristol own 17 piece Latin big band! Featuring 17 of Bristol's very best Latin and jazz musicians from Cuba, Spain, UK and more. Playing a mixture of Salsa, Mambo and Cha Cha from composers such as Tito Puentes, Cilia Cruz, Bebo Valdes and the Spanish Harlem Orchestra. Expect huuuuge sounds...blistering horns, banging bongo beats and blazing vocals! Also for the first time ever, the band showcase a handful of original compositions set to be released on their forthcoming debut album. The event is to help promote their crowdfunding campaign for this debut album, to be released digitally, CD and on vinyl.

The perfect vibey end to any crowdfunding party. This latino three piece comprised of only drums, guitar and bass have enough energy to power a Boeing 747 to Rio and back!

However if you fancy a slightly more chilled afternoon of entertainment there is also the matinee from 4pm - 6:30pm. This is £10 and includes a free beginners salsa lesson from Stellan's Salsa Souls from 4pm - 5pm, included in the price of the ticket. Making this event ideal for salsa dancers and families.
