Afrofusion Hip Hop Artist| Award Winning Interfaith Curator| Educator
Born in Mozambique during a 16-year war, MoYah was forced to flee his country as a political refugee & move to Lisbon at a young age. Inspired by his parents broad musical taste & the impact of Rap music whilst living in Portugal, he quickly learned that music could be used not only for entertainment but also as a powerful tool for self exploration & social expression eventually leading him to writing raps that addressed issues relating to identity, social injustices & spirituality from the perspective of a child of the African Diaspora.
MoYah’s music has been featured on BBC one, RTP & RTP Africa. MoYah has performed extensively across Europe, United States, South America and the African continent sharing stages with some of the most internationally respected artists such as Nas, Africa Bambaataa, Yuna, Guru & Talib Kweli.

Blakemore
Bristol born, rapper singer Blakemore blends delightful melodic hooks with societally aware hip hop lyrics. His vision is to use his life experience to motivate other people experiencing addiction and mental health to feel inspired to implement positive change in theirs lives and reach their full potential. Blakemore is also part of the Bristol trip hop collective “Audioflux” with school friend “101” who will also be be performing at the hip hop event.
